The camera shows the entrance of Active Pass, which is one of the busiest waterways in British Columbia. Georgina Point Lightstation is on the right side, and Galiano Island on the left.
Watch the BC Ferries enter Active Pass from the Strait of Georgia as they navigate between Vancouver Island and Tsawwassen on the mainland.

Book Launch at Miners Bay Books

Readers who enjoyed my Magda's Mayne Island Mystery will be happy to know that the second book in the series is ready for release.  Mayne Island Aliens continues the adventures of Magda, Brent and their friends on Mayne Island. 

Seeing a strange green light in the forest, Magda determines to find out what it is, alone!  But in the end she and Brent, along with their friends, find themselves in grave danger, trying to solve the mystery of the eerie light.

On Saturday, July 11th, I will be reading excerpts from Mayne Island Aliens at Miners Bay Books.  I will sign all copies that are purchased.

If you can't wait for the official launch, a few books are available for sale in Miners Bay Books right now, and for borrowing from the Mayne Island Library.  If you attend the Farmers' Market on June 27th, you may buy a copy of one or both of the Magda books from me at that time.
