We're fortunate that our place is less than a 10-minute from Piggott Bay. In my opinion, it's one of the best bay on the island, with a long shallow sandy beach, where the water warms up nicely on hot Summer days. It's a great place to watch Herons, Ospreys, Bald Eagles,
Otters and Seals.
This is the same world-famous beach where a cell phone washed up, after 8 months of bobbing and floating down the Coquitlam River, across the Salish Sea, into Navy Channel, where it found its way in the Bay.
Well, it isn't as exciting as a finding the owner of a cell phone after 8 months of bobbing and floating, but we love this Bay, and we love to bring our friends and family there. In April 2021, I was able to catch the views, sights and sounds of Piggott Bay using my drone, featuring my nephew Devlin.
